My name is Jane, I am 37-years-old and serving a sentence at the Lang’ata Women’s Prison in Nairobi. I joined the cross-stitch project in 2016. I worked on this cross stitch pattern of a puppy which I finished within three weeks. This project has helped me secure my children from roaming in the streets it has ensured that all my children’s needs are well taken care of. It has also helped me utilize my time better.
